The wool fleeces has been washed and carded. Carded fibre is sold as Pkts of 100g carded slivers. The wool is Moorit charcoal with russet tips. So the card varies from light to dark grey with russet brown flecks. I only have a limited quantity of this unique blend.
Flat rate shipping cost within Australia is $13 for a small order size of up to 4 Packets (400g). Larger orders up to (10 packets)1kg can be posted anywhere in Australia for a $26 postage fee.
Tin Dagon carded alpaca fibre products are selected from our own alpaca fleeces (Australian Fibre Collective licensee: 0018). Wool fleeces are hand selected from local growers. So you can be assured that the fibre was grown and produced sustainability and ethically in Tasmania.
As part of our care for the environment, we do not use harsh chemicals in the processing of our natural fibres. So, although every effort is made to remove vegetable matter (VM) from the fleeces, there may be a small mount of VM in the final carded product.
Our lightly-washed and carded slivers are all natural colours and most suitable for hand spinning and felting.
