This blanket is hand knitted from our naturally-coloured pure alpaca fibre. The knitting structure is loose and light to provide a super soft feel. The airy loft of natural alpaca fibre breathes in summer and is warm in winter. It is perfect as a knee- or shoulder-warmer and is the perfect addition to your bedroom or living room decor.
This is a luxurious artisan blanket that will be treasured for generations.
This blanket measured approximately 100cm x 100cm and weighs about 550g. Since every item is handmade, the dimensions may vary slightly.
The alpaca fibre was grown & processed here at Tin Dragon Alpaca Fibre (Australian Fibre Collective licensee: 0018). After hand-carding, the fibre was hand-spun before being hand-knitted. At a rough estimate (not including the alpaca husbandry) it took over 60 hours across several weeks to hand-craft this blanket. Blanket weighs approx 550 g.
When you purchase a hand-made item you know it is unique!
Care Instructions: To avoid felting the blanket you should hand wash it in cool to warm water in a mild detergent or wool-wash. Then allow the blanket to dry flat and do not wring it dry. Do not use bleach. Do not iron.
