These beanies were hand knitted from home-spun alpaca yarn. The fibre was grown & processed here at Tin Dragon Alpaca Fibre (Australian Fibre Collective licensee: 0018). After spinning, the white yarn was dyed with plants grown on our property, including wild Tasmanian Native Pepperberry, Tasmanian native cherry and red cabbage. The beanies are either large (58cm head circumference) or a medium fit (54 to 56 cm head circumference) and 28cm brim to crown. Each beanie was knitted with double yarn so they are extra warm for the coldest winter weather! Perfect for trekking in the wilderness!

Care Instructions: To avoid felting the beanie you should hand wash it in cool to warm water in a mild detergent or wool-wash.  Then allow the beanie to dry flat and do not wring it dry.
