Fawn alpaca fibre has been washed and carded. Carded fibre is sold as Pkts of 100g carded slivers. Flat rate shipping cost within Australia is $13 for a small order size of up to 4 Packets (400g). Larger orders up to (10 packets)1kg can be posted anywhere in Australia for a $26 postage fee.
Tin Dagon carded alpaca fibre products are selected from our own alpaca fleeces (Australian Fibre Collective licensee: 0018). So you can be assured that the fibre was grown and produced sustainability and ethically on our farm in North East Tasmania.
As part of our care for the environment, we do not use harsh chemicals in the processing of our alpaca fibre. So, although every effort is made to remove vegetable matter (VM) from the fleeces, there may be a small mount of VM in the final carded alpaca fibre.
Our lightly-washed and carded slivers are all natural colours and most suitable for hand spinning and felting.
